OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

It would be hard to explain this, without giving a direct answer, but: settings would be more at a certain point in a story, characterization doesn't have to do with the events themselves theme, is not the events, it is the main idea of the story. plot, is the story (how the events follow each other in the story) ...

thx for your help:) one more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which plot element is the turning point in the conflict where the main character must make a decision or take action that determines the direction of the story? A. falling action B. resolution C. climax D. exposition

@SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Climax are the key point in the story. And falling action is intended to get the story to the end/resolution. Rising action is the event-accumulation, how events form into the most interesting part of the story (which is usually in the middle, not before the resolution). Exposition is some literary device that introduces some background information about the events, the characters and on... (to the reader). (example: Flashback, Foreshadowing, and others...)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

and resolution, is the end

thx
