How did Henry Ford build an automobile that ordinary people could afford? A. by extending credit to buyers so they could pay for the car over several years B. by copying Thomas Edison's innovative business methods and adapting them to cars C. by creating an assembly line of workers to produce cars quickly and, therefore, cheaply D. by teaching each auto worker how to build an entire automobile without waste

I'm going to have to say Option C....Here's why..

OpenStudy (skyphos):

Ford invented the modern assembly line. He doubled his workers' wages and cut the workday from nine to eight hours. Ford did this to ensure quality work and allow a three-shift workday. As a result, the company was able to make Model T's twenty-four hours a day!
