My eye sight is bad, What dose it say?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, it is kind of hard to read. I have two triangles: triangleABC and triangle EHC Both triangles are Right triangles. Their angles are the same: angleA is congruent to angleE angleB is congruent to angleH angleC = AngleC I just need to write a two column proof to prove they are similar triangles

@SolomonZelman @ganeshie8 @SithsAndGiggles @TheSmartOne @mathslover @sammixboo Anyone?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Looks good! start by writing down the given info

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

1. angleA = 45 1. Given 2. angle E = 45 2. Given 3. angle A is congruent to angleE 3. Both angles have equal measures 4. angle B = 90 4. Given 5. anlge H = 90 5. Given 6. angleB is congruent to angleH 6. Both angles have equal measures 7. ?? 7. ??

I've actually never written a two column proof as crazy as it may seem. 7. TriangleABC is congruent to EHC 7. AA?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Yes! but you want to prove they are similar right ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

7. TriangleABC is `similar` to EHC 7. AA similarity

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you're done!

Thank you so much :)
