Hmm ok. I am bad at writing in third person, but anyways you could do it as the main character has a dream about a tornado hit, but it wasn't an ordinary tornado. He and a friend he finds put together a puzzle to what actually happened and all. Something similar. That picture is kinda hard for me to picture a story with

A child living in a 3rd world country finds an interest in the dump yards, a book. The book had pictures of knights in shining armor and princesses in flowing gowns. He absorbs the pictures in, but sadly, he can not read the text due to his lack of education. Though a passerby(or worker at the dump), takes notice of this boy and comes over and reads the book to him. Then the boy asks the male/female stranger, "Can you teach me to read?". The story develops as the child soon gains the skill of reading, and writing, rare in a country like his. Although he is mocked for his abilities, he soon gains fame as he writes his own stories of great tales and he helps his family out of poverty through his growing sales.
