as an object falls freely toward earth, the object's momentum is 1. decreses 2. inceases 3. remains the same

OpenStudy (surry99):

what is the definition of momentum?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The momentum of a body is the product of its mass and its change in velocity Mathematically, momentum= mass x change in velocity =M (V-U)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As an object falls, its momentum increases due to the action force of the earth. both experience the same amount of force according to newton third law, but the difference in mass is acknowledge.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the momentum p =mv..... m is a constant .... so is v constant or not! v constant if there is no acce. .... free fall.... the is a gravity acc. so V increases===> momentun increases
