aight wa is it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The area of the parallelogram below is ____ square meters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The area of the parallelogram below is ____ square meters. A parallelogram with height labeled with 7 meters. The top horizontal side is labeled 9 meters. The base of the left triangle formed by the height is 2 meters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not good with those im really srry im not good with those or triangles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@boricua5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@HelpBlahBlahBlah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A=BH

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its up there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he area of the parallelogram below is ____ square meters. A parallelogram with height labeled with 7 meters. The top horizontal side is labeled 9 meters. The base of the left triangle formed by the height is 2 meters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 7*2=A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14 but then you divide it bye 2 because it a triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7 then you have to find the area of the square you times the 7 and the 9 and it gives you 63 then i dont now what to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9 is the hypotenuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i just add up 63 and 7 to get the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has nothing to do with the area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant divide 63 bye two because im doing the area of a rectangle not a triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused what are u trying to find?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it dose

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The area of the parallelogram below is ____ square meters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the area of a triangle and a rectangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

click on the link

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tthe link isnt working use snip search it on the start menu its called "snip"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how to do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SpartanRace

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HELP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

click this and click the search bar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i clicked it but what do i search for

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A= \frac{ B*H }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the equation for your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i did that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well then whats your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is the answer 70?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 70 u?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no \[A=\frac{ 7*2 }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how are u getting 70?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 7 hun

OpenStudy (anonymous):

base (7) * hight (2) / 2 = 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look the problem gives you 3 numbers. 2,7,9 you multiply 2*7 and you get 14 then u divide 14 and 2 then you multiply 7*9 then u get 63 then u add 14 and get 70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean 14 divided bye 2 = 7 then you 63 and 7 u get 70

A farmer has decided to divide his land area in half in order to plant soy and corn. Calculate the area of the entire area so he knows how much soil is needed. A parallelogram with a height of 6 yards and side length 9 yards. The height forms a triangle with the slanted side of the rhombus with a base of 2.5 yards. Rhombus is split into a soy half and a corn half. Each bag of soil covers 20 square yards. How many bags should the farmer purchase?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no ur going way to complicated you stop after u divide by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 9 isnt needed unless ur doing trig, what grade are u in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what dose trig mean @skate-4-life270

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a hard math class u do in 10th grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey can you help me on 1 more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok one sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 4 triangles again ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup but before it was int a triangle it was a parallelogram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was Decomposition into a triangle

@AriPotta

@chosenmatt

ill be back later
