FAN AND MEDAL FOR ANSWER!! Variable y varies directly with x2, and y = 96 when x = 4. What is the value of y when x = 2? y=??

OpenStudy (jeffyblood):

If what I understand from the question is correct then like the 4 you just divide by 2 which would equal 48

OpenStudy (jackthegreatest):

im pretty sure y would be 24

OpenStudy (jeffyblood):

How did you get 24?
