Which runner has the least speed?

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

wouldn't it be runner c?

OpenStudy (jackthegreatest):

yes @Fanduekisses

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it looks like it to my

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It takes C more seconds than either A or B to reach a certain distance.

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

well simply use the formula v=d/t ....take d as 10 (just giving an example) because its the same for all of them.....where as t (time) is increasing so its probably C

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

Hope u get it 'fanduekisses' :)

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

your intuition was right^^ the speed for c is the least since the slope is very slow compared to the other lines

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

i should say only slow (taking out very) since it is still a somewhat fast slope

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

the point is: it is slow in comparison to the other speeds (slope)

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

yeah, it looks like all the runners ran the same distance, but took them different times to get there, so I used d/t (well kinda common sense lol).

syed98 (syedmohammed98):

yup :) glad to know u understood

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

yo can't abandon common sense always bring it to the surface when solving a math problem^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok and yore welcome
