Jane spent $42 for shoes. This was $14 less than twice what she spent on a blouse. How much was the blouse? Will medal and fan! Need to come up with a problem then a solution. With a good written explanation please

The blouse was $28 because $42 -$14 = $28.To check that answer $28 +$14 =$42 hope it helps and you can use a calculator,now..... medal and fan please

$28 because 42+14/2=28 since the shoes were 14 less and 14+42 =56 then divide by 2 and get 28
