Hi my Mom picked out some textbook questions to help me study on a test next week. I showed her this question and she seems confused like me... Please help! A bridge across a valley is 150m in length. The valley walls make angles of 60 degrees (left) and 54 degrees (right) with the bridge that spans it. How deep is the valley to the nearest metre? Therefore I need the height, which the answer at the back of the book states 115m... I was trying to find a way to use SOH CAH TOA or split the acute triangle in half because that is what my test is sort of about thank you!
