OpenStudy (wolf1728):

9 & 4 other side = 8.0623 angle x = 26.388 Calculator here: http://www.1728.org/pythgorn.htm But I can also figure out BOTH answers

OpenStudy (baby456):

how did you solve it @wolf1728

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

sine x = opp / hypotenuse sine x = 4 / 9 = .44444444444444444 angle x = arc sine (.44444444444444444) Using the handy calculator here: http://www.1728.org/trigcalc.htm the arc sine of (.444444444444) = 26.388 Degrees

OpenStudy (baby456):

ohh thank you

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

You need the second one done and the diagram is wrong. |dw:1420676621318:dw|

OpenStudy (baby456):

please do the secound one

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Cosine x = adj / hyp = 10/14 = 0.7142857143 Arc Sine 0.7142857143 = 45.585 Degrees I'll have to check that with the other calculator

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

It says the angle is 45.585degrees It's handy to have the calculators to check the work. :-)

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

You'll have to recheck that second problem to make sure I redrew the diagram correctly.

OpenStudy (baby456):

how do you use the caculator
