On day two the business earned 112.On the fifth day the business earned 367 how much will the business earn on day 10?? PLEASE HELP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but 112 divided by 26 is a crazy number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[112\div2\times10= Answer\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have the answer but it not matching up with what I have....I have 560 but the asnwer should be 792

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says here that I first need to find the slope and then the Y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh now you tell me!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know the slope is 85

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the y intercept is -58

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok the equations is....y=85x-58

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok let me calculate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It there any equations like this though. It will help me greatly. EXAMPLE: y= 3x-7 y=-x+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm no...it's just showing me the equation...but I want to know how they got those numbers 85 and -58

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know I can multiply 85x10 and then subtract 58 from it and it gives me 792..but I don't get how they got the slope and the Y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am doing this but I don't understand. Its not possible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh Ok..don't worry I'm gonna keep asking around hehe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks a lot for your time though

OpenStudy (anonymous):
