Consider the functions f (x)=x^2 +9x and g(x)=1/x f(g(-1)) is ... ? g(f(I/2)) is ... ?

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

For the first question you -Substitute x= -1 into g(x). So g(-1) = 1/-1 Then you get -1 right? So then afterwards you know g(-1) = -1 So f (-1) = ? So now you use x=-1 and substitute it into x^2 +9x Do you get it? :)

Yesss thank you @butterflydreamer

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

You're welcome! The second question follows the same method :)
