I REALLY NEED HELP! FOR AP HISTORY! WILL BE FAN AND GIVE MEDALS!!! Patrick Henry's Anti-Federalist Speech: 1. What kind of government did Patrick Henry fear would develop out of the new constitution? 2. Why did Henry feel a king would be preferable to the president under the new constitution? http://ghs.ecboe.org/UserFiles/Servers/Server_24860/File/Stacey%20Gray/Ch.%205%20Sec.%203%20WS.pdf this is the link to the pdf, it is the 5th page patrick henry's speech
I think number 1 is dictatorship and 2 is because the president has more power than the king did.

1: Henry was in fear of the central government gaining power, but was also worried about protecting the South. He felt that the fast growing North would have more impute into how the government was to be ran. 2: Henry believed that the new constitution would give the president too much power in government, even more power than King George III had had over the colonies. That is why he preferred a king. Hope it helps!!!!!
