OpenStudy (twizttiez):

Which equation represents the graph of the linear function? A. y = 4x + 4 B. y = 4x − 4 C. y = −4x + 4 D. y = −4x − 4 http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1524500_1525000/1524543/1/a1813a17f6398a013af664632a476db2e7ec0607/MS_IMC_06_05_116090.jpg

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's a positive slope so it wouldn't be C or D

OpenStudy (twizttiez):

Ok so then it'd be A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and it crosses the y- intercept at -4 , so which one would it be?

OpenStudy (twizttiez):

Wait I'm confused it it crosses the -y intercept it should be C and if it's a positive slope it should be A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It crosses the y intercept at negative 4, but it has a positive slope of 4. so it would be y=4x-4

OpenStudy (twizttiez):

Ohhhh :| sorry lol I'm not very good at math as you can see

OpenStudy (twizttiez):

Could you help me with 3 more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah don't worry, I'm not all that great at it myself, but I pick up on the basics (: & yea sure!

OpenStudy (twizttiez):

Thanks
