why do we use capital letters to label angles on a triangle

OpenStudy (jeffyblood):

Because angles are in lowercase. So we use capital letters so we don't get mixed up or confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mean like when we're missing an angle and we use a variable

OpenStudy (jeffyblood):

Kinda of. More like If you have a variable for an angle, you will find that they are in lowercase then if you look at the name of the triangle you will see that it is in capitals. This way you know which one is the angle and which is the name of the triangle.
