OpenStudy (daniellelovee):
im guessing you have to find out the perpendicular of the given equation in which case you would just do the opposite reciprocal of the slope
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@Daniellelovee yeah i have no idea, do you know the equation?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wait im solving it
OpenStudy (daniellelovee):
if you have -4/3 then the opposite reciprocal will be 3/4
OpenStudy (anonymous):
y=3/4x-5

they need u to find equation of perpendicular line in slope intercept form

Nnesha (nnesha):
and yes slope intercept form equation is y = mx+b
now you have to find perpendicular slope
so perpendicular slope is should opposite of slope that you have "-4/3" <-- flip it and change sign
so perpendicular slope is 3/4
Nnesha (nnesha):
now use that one order pair to find y-intercept
Nnesha (nnesha):
|dw:1420756313711:dw|
replace x and y and then solve for b
