@amberxoxo  isnt writing a counter claim basically a statement refuting what you claim?
For example some books should be banned...Counterclaim would be...Books should never be banned because of what he First amendment says (thats if you live in US)

yah its stating your opinion on somthing and throughout the rest of the essay you state why you feel that way or give facts on the claim
