OpenStudy (k_lynn):

So what you need to know about writing numbers is that all numbers teens (I think) through 99 are written with a hyphen. For example seventy-seven.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

so do you think you know what the answer should be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Yep!

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Great job.

In which sentence is the fraction written correctly? A. Cody ate two-thirds of the apple pie. B. The cat ate one-half of the treats. C. He added one-third cup of flour.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

The same rule applies for fractions...though all of them are written with a hyphen so I will have to do a little poking around on google...just a second.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

http://www.grammarbook.com/numbers/numbers.asp Here it says to use a hyphen for all fractions...but all of your choices have fractions in them :/ I'm not sure... maybe @SolomonZelman or @Nnesha can help you with this one.
