@perl

OpenStudy (wade123):

i only have 2 more after this and im done(: i just wanna check these last ones

OpenStudy (perl):

which base is it perpindicular to

OpenStudy (perl):

I mean, are the squares perpindicular to the y axis or the x axis, or does it not matter

OpenStudy (wade123):

OpenStudy (wade123):

thats the graph i got

OpenStudy (perl):

what program did you use to graph that

OpenStudy (wade123):

wolframalpha

OpenStudy (perl):

you can draw squares perpindicular to the x axis or the y axis

OpenStudy (wade123):

okk

OpenStudy (perl):

|dw:1420765508679:dw|

OpenStudy (wade123):

okk got it

OpenStudy (wade123):

oh wait i got 16/3

OpenStudy (perl):

integral (2-x)^2 , x = 0..2 = 8/3

OpenStudy (perl):

notice that it does not make a difference which axis you make the base of the squares perpendicular to , if you use squares that are perpendicular to y axis you have integral ( 2 - y)^2 , y = 0..2 = 8/3

OpenStudy (wade123):

oh i second guessed myself, i was right the first time(: thank you!
