4 forces acting on an object?

If you think about it, if four equal forces on a ball came from up down, left and right, then it would be at rest.

If the four forces came from the same side, the ball would certainly move. Depending on those forces it has to make the ball accelerate (assuming it first rests) to move.

The forces could also keep the ball moving at a constant velocity if applied constantly...
