not the greatest picture, but I find imagining the box, is useful in this scenario. One box size is 4.5in so you can stack two boxes to fill the 9 in. Then the whole length is 18 in so you can fit, 4 stacks of 2 down the line. Count this number up, and it will give you the total amount of boxes that can fit into the larger one.
