Which expression is a quadratic binomial? xy^2 x-y^2 3+x^2-xy x^2y-y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't figure it out, but I'm pretty sure it's B or D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its b

OpenStudy (igreen):

Binomial means it has 2 terms..

OpenStudy (igreen):

Can you pick more than one answer? @GodGirl360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for your help. :)

OpenStudy (igreen):

Is this what B looks like? \(x - y^2\) And is this what D looks like? \(x^2y -y \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (igreen):

Hmm..they both seem correct.

OpenStudy (igreen):

@ganeshie8 @SolomonZelman @iambatman @TuringTest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It can not be B, because look what happens when you graph it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Quadratic Polynomials model the path of a projectile.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it is C in that you have x^2 and x for your 2 terms thus binomial
