OpenStudy (damonte212):

what is it telling you to solve for

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The problem just says "Solve 1/2+3/2d=-1/d"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Move -(1/d) to the left side and move (1/2) to the right side you will get this (3/2d) + (1/d) = -(1/2) Now taking LCM in the left side you will get this (5/2d) = -(1/2) Cross multiply and you will get d = -5

Thank you!
