z= 11
OpenStudy (anonymous):
THank you!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
First cross multiply both sides you will get...
12(z-1) = 10(z+1)
12z - 12 = 10z +10
2z = 22
and then u will get z = 11

k+1/ 2k - 1 = 4/5

5k + 5 = 8k - 4
OpenStudy (anonymous):
gud but u typed it wrong....make it like this
(5)(k+1) = (4)(2k-1)
multiply 5 with the complete terms inside the bracket means multipy 5 with (4k+1)....not 5 with single term 4k
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ur going gud....tell me the final answer now...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
13?
OpenStudy (anonymous):

no not 13...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
when doing 5K + 5 = 8K - 4 I got
13k = 1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
now move k terms on one side and without k terms on the other side
OpenStudy (anonymous):
move 5k to the right and (-4) to the left
OpenStudy (anonymous):
13k + 5 = -4
