If |c| = 9, then which are possible values of c? Choose exactly two answers that are correct. A. –3 B. –9 C. 9 D. 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is asking for the absolute value. if you had |-7| = 7 the answer would be 7 If you have |3| = 3 the answer would be 3. What do you think the answer is for your problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would be b and c if you have to choose two if not then just c because absolute value is how many numbers is this number away from 0 wich is really easy once you get it, 4's absolute value is 4 3's absolute value is 3 get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|c| is an absolute value so if c = 9, then its |9| which equals 9.. So its C

If you put a negative number inside | |, it will be positive, and it will be positive if you put a positive number inside, so what is your answer? @linzee1877

The answer is B and C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Put 9 and -9 inside of | | where the c is. |-9| = 9 = True |9| = 9 = True Answer B and C
