The kings letter is powerful and has great stylistic elements throughout. Martin Luther King uses rhetorical questions, simile's, and imagery and stylistic elements throughout his letter to convey how he feels. An example of a rhetorical question used in the king's letter would be. Over and over again I have found myself asking; “ who worships here? Who is their god?” A simile he uses in his letter would be. I would like to answer your statement in what I hope will be patient and reasonable terms. And example of imagery used in his letter would be when he says. There comes a time when the cup of endurence runs over., and men are no longer willing to be plunged into the abyss of injustice where they expierence the bleakness of corroding despair. I hope sir's, you can understand our legitimate and unavoidable impatience. These are some examples the king uses in his letter. There are many more examples throughout his letter that also convey great emotion and power. I cant tell you how powerful, and inspirational his letter is so you'll just have to read it yourself to understand fully.
