Long jump problem with 10 m/s with 23 degrees. I need to find how long the jumper was in the air, how high he was, and then how far he went. I believe he was in the air for 0.797 seconds if I am correct or not? My teacher only gave me three formulas to use for this problem which are Vf=Vi + at (Vf)^2=(Vi)^2 + 2 Ag d d= Vi + 1/2 Ag t^2 How do I do those problems to figure out the answers? I am so new at this… Help please!
