There are many "cup" sizes, depending on the country, and usage
Following are mostly for baking
A litre has 4 metric cups.
A US cup is 240 mL.
Cups in UK are 10 fl.oz = 284 mL
For coffee or tea:
A coffee cup is 150 mL
Small styrofoam cups for coffee is usually 6 fl. oz, each with 28.4 mL.
Make the appropriate choice according to the context/country.
