are you sure ?? can i help u ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay so perpendicular like i said before hope you rembered that last post the equation you have is -4 perpendicular slope should be opposite so -4/1<-- flipp it and change sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does that mean?

Nnesha (nnesha):

for example if slope is 2/1 perpendicular slope should be -1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so -1/4

Nnesha (nnesha):

y = -4x -2 <-- here slope is negative then perpendicular slope should be positive "flip it and change sign" negative reciprocall

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

Nnesha (nnesha):

so that should be 1/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok
