Okay, I haven't read the play in a while, but I think that in an un-literal sense, love should mean dying for each other. They were loyal to each other and didn't say "Oh she just died where is Rosaline?" Romeo was loyal to Juliet even after her death. In some cases people are like that today, they will only have one love and once that person passes, they don't move on. I don't remember the rest of the loyalty traits in the play but that's one of them
