OpenStudy Feedback 19 Online

What is the true meaning of the feedback section? Why can't people post anything on themselves? Why do the mods delete every single thread that could be off topic to their personal standards? I'd like opinions and answers. If this gets closed I will keep reposting it because it is a REAL question for OpenStudy. So. Yeah. Write what you think and know!

I have nothing against mods.. Some seem too uptight on certain days based on how their own personal life is. Other times mods can be great friends or very helpful which I've learned since I've actually been on here. I just don't understand all the new crazy things that keep going on.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Hi, This is called "OpenStudy Feedback." This is not called, "Personal feedback," or, "so-and-so is my bestfriend." OpenStudy Feedback should relate to, or correlate, in some way, to projects, suggestions, topics, threads, questions, constructive criticism, complaints [complaints about moderators should be addressed to Contact@OpenStudy.com], or anything else outlined by Administration thereof which is deemed appropriate. Preetha green-lighted the usage of OpenStudy Feedback for a few specific miscellaneous questions and/or statements. A few will be listed, but are not limited to: - Happy Birthday - Congratulatory threads - Miscellaneous questions (e.g., no group relevant) I'm going to now quote a part of our Code of Conduct, with the context being, "Spam." "Posting a question that is off topic for a particular group (i.e. posting a physics question in the Mathematics group)." Borrowing from the Merriam Dictionary: Feedback: "Helpful information or criticism that is given to someone, or something (OpenStudy) to say what can be done to improve a performance, product, etc.." Feedback: I don't like OpenStudy's policies; we should add a section for... OpenStudy keeps lagging... Who is Hermes... Not Feedback: OpenStudy sucks... Mods stop deleting my posts... My OpenStudy wife is...

You've been here long enough to know the answer to this yourself. But, with the current threads you've been involved with had to do with flirtatious behaviour rather than educational topics. I'm all for expressing yourself, but there are also limits to that. When you have such topics that include such behaviour as I mentioned, you have to remember there are also children on this site, and you should know it's against the CoC. You judging others based on actions you've made is also wrong, and I can continue to lecture you on that, but I have no interest in this topic anymore. Anyways, I hope you take this in a positive manner rather than a negative, and please stop spamming the site.

Seriously? You closed it. I'm going to just repost it because I want MANY opinions. Not just yours.
