Which sentence is punctuated correctly? A. "some people say that toads give people warts," Billy said. B. "Have you ever had a wart?" asked Billy. C. Janice replied, "yes, I've had several." D. "Toads do have bumps on their skin," Janice replied, "But those bumps are not warts."

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

ok now you use process of elimination and tell which one do you think it is :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A cant be it cause the first word isnt caplized, B should be Billy asked, im stuck on C n D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its C......

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

same because on the last example we did the second sentence after the quoting symbol closed didn't star with a capital letter; and this one shoulnd't either because it ends with a coma not a period.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so B?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

no C you already eliminated the rest and got stuck between C and D and I just told you wy I think D is wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see thank you i get it now

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

no problem
