PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE A MEDAL Find the derivative of f(x) = 5/x at x = -1.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

rewrite it in index form \[f(x) = 5x^{-1}\] now find the derivative

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

And remember the power rule: \(x^n = nx^{n-1}\) where \(n\) is the power.

@satellite73 how do i do this?

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Have you attempted it ?
