what is a flat character? - a character who stays the same throughout the story. - a character that changes due to the events in the story. (my answer) - a character which we know limited information about. - a character we know a lot of information about (usually the main character). - a pattern of rhyming words in a poem. am i right?

OpenStudy (skyphos):

"Flat characters are two-dimensional in that they are relatively uncomplicated and do not change throughout the course of a work. By contrast, round characters are complex and undergo development, sometimes sufficiently to surprise the reader." Source: http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/209627/flat-and-round-characters
