I would say the Korean War, as many many more people will injured and killed in it. It hurt world peace as we had China and the USSR helping a later dictatorship fight against mostly untrained SK troops and the United States. A long lasting effect of this is that the fighting is still going on today thanks to the USSR and China backing the North in the 50's, giving them power and weapons tech that they needed.
