Scream my head off Break my heart open Lose my soul See my self go crazy Forget my senses Feel my self go in spiral motions Write the story of my life With paper in pen Later, you can read all about it My heart is heavy And the weight of my love for you, Brings me back I’m broken, but not completely Sober from the touch But after all of this, I still love you And I hate myself for this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool im writing a story called THE BLOODY ROSE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nice :) i'd love to read it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Bloody Rose Investigations can be graphic. That’s why society leaves it to the detectives and the investigators. Events like those are to be solved and the perpetrators are put to justice. That’s why they have people like me. Charlie Capero. 28 of age. I live in the small city of Springfield, Illinois. I have been working in the force for two years now and I’ve seen some pretty sick stuff. Burned corpses. Murders that were cover up to look like suicide. You name it. I’ve seen it all. But nothing could prepare me for what I was going to see one warm summer night. Nothing…….. DAY 1 It was June 23rd at 11:00am on a warm summer evening. I had just got done doing my homework. Which was of course watching the ‘First 48’. As I was about to get on to my cold comfy bed, my cellphone started to ring. Hearing that I sighed to myself knowing it was work calling. So took my knee off my cold comfy bed and picked it up. It was a murder. But not just your typical crime scene it was much worse. MUCH worse. When I got the call I put on my cut sleeve hoody and headed the road. Here’s a little thing I like to do when I’m about to be on a case. I count. “One Mississippi, Two Mississippi, Three Mississippi….” I’d say this over and over because of my anxiety. I’ve had it ever since I was young so this is my method. As I was approaching I knew I was in the right place. When I was heading down the street corner I could see police lights that look like 4th of July lights. But I could barely see those lights because rain drops rain down on my windshield for it had been raining the day before. I parallel parked my car and got out. When I did a man with a black police uniform and a mustache approached me with a notepad as if I was a normal guy on the street. Seeing this and knowing what he was about to ask me I pulled out my shinny badge and showed it to the bearded man. He looked carefully at it and told me this in a deep voice, “Prepare yourself .This ain’t pretty.” With hearing that, my eyebrows raised. At this point I was a little anxious to see was inside that little house across the street. So I went. “One Mississippi Two Mississippi…….” On the door step you cold already smell it. You can already smell the blood. As I walked in not knowing what I would see, I saw on big blood stain on the side wall. Then another. Then another. Then a trail of the red liquid led to the living room where a saw the first body. All of its fingers had been cut clean off and the toes as well. And you could also see the wire around the wrist and the ankle. Now, this woman was about in her late 20’s and was Caucasian. When I followed the rest of the blood trail it led to a room where the detectives were swarming at. When I went inside what I saw was horrific. I saw a white man in a chair with a tuxedo with absolutely no blood on it. But his body was covered in cuts in bruises. And it got even worse when we got to the neck. But when we did that is where the top of his body ended. For there was no head on the body. The head had been sawed off. And written in blood on the wall behind him said “ Find Me.” Looking stunned I walked closer and on the floor was an object. A flower. A rose. A bloody rose. I could barley close my mouth. At this point I was about the chunk up my popcorn I had beforehand. In fact ,I did . When I saw that ruthless killing crime scene I ran right back outside and puked. But even so I was still doing my method for anxiety. I was trying my hardest not to have an anxiety attack. I had to go back in there. Who would do something like that and most importantly, WHY? So I stuck my head up high, did my method and walked back in the gruesome room. With every step I knew that I would have to man up. I went back in and I saw the man in the tux. Then I saw the wall then I saw the rose. That rose that had blood on its stem and body. Grabbing my attention, I put on my gloves and picked it up. As I was studying it I knew it was a clue left by the culprit. But why did he live this? And why did he live a rose of all things? All of these question ran through my mind. But what really got my attention was the mysterious writing on the wall. The words said “Find Me”. Judging by the way the body was formed I assumed the killer wanted us to find the victims head. But why DO they want us to find the head? As I was running all these scenarios through my mind, my work buddy, Detective Pete Mitchell, walked towards me. “Wassup, Charlie” he said in a sassy voice. “Hey”I said. I knew I sound weird because I had still been shaken up by the incident “Pretty crazy ,huh” he said “Y-Yeah” “Man, this guy must have had some real beef with these people” When he said “people” I just then remembered the other body in the living room. I guess I was so shaken by the headless tuxedo man that I forgot about the women victim. “Oh yeah …..that’s right” I said recalling the women “Hey man, don’t lose your head.” He uttered pointing to the headless man. “I’ll be alright.” Trying to reassure him “Ya know, The women over their looks like this lady is the in the photo.” “Photo? What photo?” “The photo on the living room” When Pete said that I ran right past him to the living room. I looked around and saw what Pete was referring to. There was this photo on the living wall. It had 9 people in it. But one person caught my attention. The women on the upper right hand corner of the picture. It was the same women that had been stabbed multiple times and her fingers sawed out. Was the culprit searching for the people in the photo? If so why? While I was studying the picture, the same bearded police man walked to me and said with a sigh, “Told ya.” And he was right. DAY 2 This has got to be the most gruesome case that I have ever seen in my 2 years as a detective in Springfield, Illinois. It’s been a couple of hours since I was at the little house across the street. And since then I haven’t gotten a wink of sleep. I keep thing about the headless man and the fact that his tuxedo had absolutely no blood on it. I also continued to think about the women in the photo and the rest of the people in the picture. Was the headless man one of the people in the photo? There’s only one way to find out. We have to find that head. I also have to meet the people in the photo and ask them a few questions about the victims and if the might know who the killer is. But what I really needed to know about was that rose. That bloody rose that had been lying on the wooden floor has really got my attention. At 8:00 in the morning after I, put on the black jacket and jeans and headed to work even though I hadn’t had a wink on sleep. When I drove up there, I saw a hand full paparazzi wanting answers. I had to go around the back so I wouldn’t get caught up in the mess. When I went in, Pete came straight to me. “ The Chief Maxwell wants to see you.”he said in a serious voice. So I nodded my head and went to the chiefs desk. “You wanted to-’’ Being cut off by the chefs wave of his hand: telling me to wait for he had been talking on the phone. It sound like he was arguing to the paparazzi “boss” of whatever. “ Look I want those hooligans away from my station and that final!” he said slamming the phone on his desk. “Sit down, Charlie” he gently said as if that phone conversation never happened. I have to admit, I was a little scared now. “Yes, sir” Charlie, you’ve been working here for two years now and you’ve done some pretty good work. I mean I’ve people work in the force for 9 years for more and they haven’t done such I fine job as you have” “Thank you, sir” “And that’s why you going to be leading an investigation.” “Wait, what?” I couldn’t believe my ears “Remember last night’s killing? Well you’re going to be leading it.” “Sir with all due respect-’’ Being cut of yet again. “I know you can do it, Charlie. You’ve got the talent and the looks” he said sassily. He was starting to remind me Pete. With lots of arguing and a lot of being cut off, I accepted the task. I knew that this was going to be tough work. But I also knew that if I was leading this investigation, then I can do this at my own pace. During my discussion with the chief, he told me I can have a partner to keep my company. There was no one else I trusted more than Pete, so he was my right had man in this investigation. I talked about it with Pete at lunch break and he agreed after a lot of talking. A LOT………. The first thing that gave us a lead on the investigation was that picture that had been hanging on the back off the love sofa in the living room of the crime scene. After getting the “ok” from the lab that analyzed the photo, I tracked down the people on the photo. Since we know that 2 people had been killed out of the 9 people we know that 7 people are left. First we tracked down the lady on the upper left hand corner. Pete and I had no idea who this lady was so we went down the
