OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI

OpenStudy (misty1212):

\[\frac{3}{12}=\frac{2}{8}=\frac{1}{4}\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

they are all the same number, and that is your answer

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the question wasn't really that hard was it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

sammixboo (sammixboo):

@misty1212 make sure to guide the user to the answer instead of giving the answer :P You can explain how to simplify fractions instead, teaching the user how to simplify users, so they can learn it for future problems =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is A : 1/4

OpenStudy (misty1212):

yes dear it is

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

careful , the ratio is 1/r = 1/4 so r = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what is the final answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it is 1/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but @dumbcow will know it more :)

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

i dont like how they worded it .....by looking at the table you see that ratio of cherry juice/soda is a constant 1/4 they seem to define "r" as denominator of ratio, so r = 4 i hope im not over thinking it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it 1/4 or 4? I cant get it wrong! no pressure! LOL

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

sorry i think its 4 but it could be 1/4 ..... its a poorly written question in my opinion ask your teacher to clarify it for you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks! ill tell you if you got it right right now :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got it right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

:)
