Think about your life so far as a narrative. Use a graphic organizer to show your understanding of the 4 elements of plot as they are at work in the short story of your life. Then, write a short story that depicts one episode in your life. If you can't think of any ideas, remember to go back to your Writer's Notebook, where they are sitting and waiting for you! Don't forget what you learned in Unit I about audience and purpose, and in Unit II about strong ideas! Include all the elements of plot, but try to make the transitions between them fluid.
