Service learning project EXHIBIT: "create personal artwork that reflects your overall appearance". What does this mean? Please help, this exhibit is due tomorrow. I am not asking for specific help because this is based on my volunteer service, but I need to know how to answer this.
@iGreen @iambatman @Compassionate
Create something that's you..something that shows you..
... I understand that but I need a more specific direction.
Like..?
(Stating this beforehand - Excuse me, I am having a migraine and am very nauseous for some odd reason, so I apologize for short-tempers.) It wants me to do personal artwork... what kind of artwork? I'm short on time...
(I think I'm going to throw up. Pardon me.)
Sorry for the trouble guys ;-; Please continue the learning process :-)
I think that it means to show who you are and what this experience has helped you with. Not just how you look. So it'll show how you changed on the outside and inside (ie if you helped to carry heavy boxes for a seniors home [just an example] you can show how your body benefited and also your mind and heart.)
Also, if you still don't understand what to do, I suggest telling your teacher that you didn't understand, and you'd like an extension so you don't receive a bad grade for winging it. Ask the teacher in more detail what to do, I'm sure they will be glad to help.
And I don't know if this will help, but I don't know if it's for art class or english, but anything counts as art. A poem, drawing, painting, sculpture, photograph. All of this counts, so you can just decide which one you would prefer doing. I hope you feel better
@Oscarmenot We're not allowed to request extensions. I'd get points off if I did that. I can't sculpt, paint or draw to save my life but neither can I write a relevant enough poem, so I drew a super ugly drawing = =; It's for history. And thank you for the very informative answer
omg im good at this!!!
im a poet and artist so design of self reflection is one of my favorites
I would understand this better if it didn't say "appearance" ...hopefully they meant something less shallow. Here is a good resource of ideas. Just make sure it represents the learning that occurred and that it has personal meaning for you http://www.myslant.org/Portals/0/Resources/Sample%20Service%20Learning%20Projects%20for%20the%20Arts.pdf
Already winged the project and did a little bad on it, oh well xD
