A candle and a firework both can be ignited with a spark, but they release different amounts of energy as they burn. Compare and contrast the potential energy diagrams that would represent each of these burning processes. Be specific in your comparison.? I think since the firework is more of a sudden light that burns out quickly has a higher potential energy then the candle that can burn slowly and stay lite. I think im right just want to make sure and to try to understand the whole question better

A Firework releases a greater amount of energy then the candle does. The Firework has to let off a lot of energy to shoot up in the air to pop. All the candle has to do is just sit their and stay lit.|dw:1421073144050:dw|
