If the are two charges on the x axis, ( q at x=0 and -2q at x=1) is there any point on the y axis that has an electric field pointing only in the x direction?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Original I thought no, then I was thinking ... What if you are not so close to the charge. There may be two spots on the y axis that are parallel to the x axis. One positive and one negative.
