I'll give a medal for help, this is actually really easy A textbook company keeps track of its daily cost for printing whole textbooks to different schools, but can only print up to 500 books a day. The daily cost (C) to print x number of textbooks is given by C(x) = 3.50x + 1200. Using the function, determine one possible daily cost by evaluating the function for any input of your choice. I just need someone to explain to me what they're asking. Do I choose any number that I want to and replace c(x) with it, and then use it to solve the problem?

Sorry for asking a silly question but I don't want to get it wrong because I misinterpreted it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. For x = 200, C(x) = 1900 B. C(20) =1270 in this context means that the cost to print 20 text books daily is 1270 C. C(40.5) =1341.75 is not valid. As in this context, number of text books should be only a natural number.

hope this helps
