Question

“Welcome” she said, as I stepped into the drumming sound of my soul.
Dark blues… surround my senses.
I smell the scent of death of love
I see the downward spiral of heartbreak
I touch the blood dripping through the cracks of beaten flesh
There’s a lack of color to the scenery I am experiencing.
I mean, it is not a true color but a feeling that is felt…
Warmth, there is no warmth in this place.
All that is felt is sadness,
Violation,
But the thing I feel most…
Heartache.
I know that this place has never been
Fully loved, to the capacity it needs to be loved.
“This place is not a happy one, but from what you may see.” She said, “I am pretty sure you already noticed…” the lady seemed sad, but fulfilled with this place… although I wish I could somehow help her.
I felt compelled to get close to her, and subtle movements followed.
I hugged her,
Once I touched her skin, sounds burst.
Colors changed,
The lady changed,
Everything changed by one touch
Warmth filled the place
“Thank you child, my heart has been restored” the lady said, “Just by your one act of love.” She smiled tenderly and left from my sight quicker than a fish when your foot enters the surface of the water.
