Jerry paid $99.30 for 6 shirts. How much did Jerry pay for each shirt?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Just divide.. 99.3 / 6 = ?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

What do you think you need to do?

OpenStudy (igreen):

That will give you the price per shirt.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

^

OpenStudy (igreen):

What do you get? @AngelRider1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

ya, @AngelRider1 when you divide $99.30 and 6, what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dont know how to didve

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Ohh...I'm not sure how to explain how to divide to someone who doesn't know how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK I can just do something else to learn how to divide

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

@Abhisar , @Ashleyisakitty @TuringTest would you be able to explain this?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

ok @AngelRider1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx i have something that will help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

16.55

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Julie built a tower of blocks that stood 22.5 cm tall. Each block is 1.5 cm tall. How many blocks are in the tower?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Right, that's the price he spent for each shirt. Great job.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

It's the same case for this question. You do the same thing you did for the last one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

I know a little bit. You can close this question and then tag me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What does that mean?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Ok, so on your page, there should be a little button that says close question. It's in the spot I underlined on that picture. And then you just open another question and put the @ and k_lynn in the comments. I'll come as quick as I can.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Question 1.1. What is the solution to the equations represented by these two lines? (Points : 1) (0, 4) (2, 0) (4, 2) (2, 3)

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

where's the lines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Idk I tryed to copy pasted it and then it doesn't show you the lines on here

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

well a solution to an equation is the point where the lines meet at.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

So like this |dw:1421081344487:dw| those lines would intersect at the point (3,2). You just need to do that with your lines.
