For a party, Liam ordered 1 taco for each guest, for $2.50 each, and paid a $2.00 delivery fee. Michelle ordered 1 burrito for each guest, for $1.80 each, and paid a $3.00 delivery fee. Let g represent the number of guests that attended the party. Which simplified expression represents the total cost of the two orders? A.4.3g + 5 B.4.5g + 4.8g C.6.3g + 3 D.9.3g
It looks like B?
I would say is A because 2.50+1.80 are the numbers that are being multiplied by g and then the delivery fee is not multiply by anything is just added to the amount so 5 is the total amount of fee
but tell me why you thought it was B
When I was younger I'd always suck at math word problems but I'd just put add them together and since we don't know the amount of people, G would be guests, so the total for the food, and then add the guests
But I get what you're saying
I put up the new question :) I think I already answered it correctly but of course I might be wrong haha
yeah but is that the equations that we have were 2.50x+2 and 1.80x+3 if you combine them you get A
ok ill go see itnow
umm I dont see it can you tag me?
It lagged and it didn't post. Making now haha
