the average of the endpoints is the midpoint
that is assume v is (x,y) we have (x+3)/2=5 and (y+5)/2=-11
you have two equations to solve
Okay
So all I have to do is find what number plus 3, divided by 2, equals 5? And what number plus 5, divided by two, equals -11? (I'm sorry, I've never been good with math)

yep
Okie dokie!
x would be 7, right?
And y would be -22, right?
almost (x+3)/2=5 means x+3=10 so x=10-3=7 (y+5)/2=-11 means y+5=-22 so y=-22-5=-27
