yeh well the mongols conquered, then all reverted to islam.
not a major change in lifestyle for them tho. they still went out a conquering.
The Moghuls defeated and conquered the Muslim Lodi Sultanate of northern India following the battle of Panipat in 1526,and thereafter Moghul rule in India expanded,so the Islamic religion became the predominant religion of India - in terms of its rulers (the Moghuls were also Islamic).
