Writing a paper, and just wondering if anyone can toss out a few names here. Can anyone name a few people that did selfless acts? Like, people who did inspirational movements, or a scientist that found a vaccine for something important? Just toss a name or two and it'd help a bunch. Trying to write a paper, and am looking for a few nifty people in history that would be great to use as an example.

there are many selfless people in history

Ten examples you gave. Joan of Arc wasn't selfless, she was on a mission for her God. Also Edward Cullen is a fictional sparkly vampire from a poorly written series of books. Eight out of ten. Thank you.

LMAO I was wondering why Edward Cullen was considered selfless too...
