Ok, i'm pretty sure that it is either B or A. 

I'm going to say it is B though, simply for the fact that after the American Revolution, the Appalachian Area was considered "off limits" to the new US government. That area almost became a sort of reservation for the Indians. 

It's also not A or C, because it was widely known that some Indian tribes were obligated to side with the British.
